• Malware: email theft, quid pro quo, system file changes

  - it SEEMS to do what it's supposed to do?

  - email theft - forced Facebook support to unlock license - watermarked image EVEN AFTER supporting on Facebook - modifies system files - very invasive (sets off every antivirus program repeatedly) - clunky and inefficient UI - only one effect at a time - no (usable) plain text overlay

  Summary

  It seems someone with talent is out to make money at everyone else's expense. It barely does what it says it does, poorly, and doesn't seem to break your computer enough to be apparently illegal.

  Pros

  I wish I could report some positive information but I simply refuse to hand over my valuable personal information without being given the opportunity to try the software out first. This is a shame since this program advertises some interesting features for a freeware program.

  Cons

  Virtual Webcam by "Web Solution Mart" (http://www.fakewebcam.com/) demands, as in it will not open without "registering" your email. Furthermore on the "ambush architecture" award: The exit button on the "Register" screen has been intentionally disabled. This leaves the only way to stop the program is to re-start the computer or to terminate via the Window's task manager. This feature makes me wonder if they gained experience programming for pornography pop-ups.

  Summary

  My email information is very valuable. I don't hand it over to every software package I try. This software by demanding my email without even offering a privacy statement is outrageous if not illegal (in the USA). The user has no guarantees if "Web Solution Mart" is going to sell their email address to every spammer on the internet (and make significant fees). If "Web Solution Mart" wants me to try their software later and re-review; remove the forced registration.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Dec 25, 2012<p/>DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This is full of spyware and will hijack all installed browsers. Even installs a DNS rerouter potentially sending you to fake sites.

  love it all the time...a free webcam....wowww...too many points to say! everyone around me loves it very much!

  Summary

  I think that Virtual Webcam is a great product, simply because I had tried some others and none of them amused me as much as this one did. I was lucky enough to find it. and i'd like to share it with everyone.

  New version. Good. Many webcam functions and cool effects. Clean and lite, no bothersome things and the most special thing is that it is totally free.

  This software is the best choice if you are looking for any suport to share your cam behind all your video chats at same time. Amazing effects, so soft, many webcam functions and cool effects. Clean and lite, no bothersome things. Highly recommended !
